    I. Brief Introduction:

    Glucoamyalse is extracted from AspergillusNigerby the deep fermentation methods. It is widely used in alcohol, wine, beer brewing, monosodium glutamate, starch sugar, antibiotics and etc.

    II. Definition of Activity:

    One gram or milliliter of glucoamyalse powder or liquid at 40°C and pH 4.6 hydrolyze the solvable starch in one hour to produce 1mg glucose is called one enzyme activity unit and marked with u/g or u/ml.

    III. Characteristics:

    1. Effective Temperature: 40-70 °C    Optimum Temperature: 60-65 °C

    2. Effective pH: 3.0-5.5                       Optimum pH 4.2-4.6

    V. Application:  

    (The following dosage is an example of 100,000 u/g. Other specification can be converted according to the enzyme activity)

    1. In manufacture process of alcohol: after the raw materials cooling down at 60-65°C, add the Glucoamylase in the proportion of 1.0-1.6 L/T of raw material and keep for 30-60 min.

    2. In manufacture process of starch sugar: after the raw material liquefying and cooling down at 60-65°C, adjust the pH to 4.2-4.5, then add the Glucoamylase in the proportion of 1.0-3.0 L/T of raw material.

    3. In manufacture process of dry beer: add the Glucoamylase in the proportion of 0.2-0.5 L/T of dry malt before saccharification or fermentation, because it can improve the sugar degree of dry beer.

    4. In brewing industry: adding Glucoamylase can improve wine yield efficiency; the recommend dosage is 1.0-1.5 kg/Ton of raw material.

    5. In manufacture process of gourmet powder, antibiotics, citric acid, and etc.: add the enzyme in the proportion of 1.0-3.0 L/Ton of raw material.

    VI. Storage:  

    Should be Stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place; protect from direct sunlight, heat and dampness; avoid storing with poisonous and harmful substances.

    VII. Packaging:

    20kg/bag, 30kg/bag, 25kg/drum, 30kg/drum or as clients’ requirements.
